The book of Romans lies at the very heart of Pauline theology and proves beyond any doubt that the “gospel of Christ” (Rom. 1:16), has the life-giving power of God for salvation.  The very same resurrection power that transformed the lives of people in the first century, can do the very same thing in the lives of people living today!  The story of Romans is a contrast of Law and Grace, Old Covenant and New Covenant, Sin and Death or Life and Righteousness.  Learn for yourself how “newness of life” (Rom. 6:3-5) is more than a future hope, it is a present reality for believers today.

This study of the book of Romans will change your life!

Breaking News: City Destroyed as Thousands Flee

There is no question that every disaster affects someone in a very personal way.  The fast-paced 24/7 daily news cycle, the ability to use Twitter or Facebook to announce a tragedy “as it happens” is certainly unique to the 21st century, and is expected.  However, the amount of “coverage” devoted to any event is often determined, not by the extent of the actual devastation, but on how must importance of the impact it has on others who live outside the immediate area.

The tragic earthquakes recently reported in Japan has captured the attention of millions, and especially those with friends and family of victims of the tragedy. Continue reading

Celebrating the Glorious Victory of God!

THERE is nothing quite sofrustrating as the problems people encounter with’undeliverable mail’ marked “Return to Sender.” Each year millions of pieces of mail arelost, damaged, or otherwise sabotaged while en route to their promised finaldestination. The ‘Seen’ and the ‘Unseen’ Story

AS the smoke billowed heavenward from the fire that ravaged that once, ‘great city’—Zion, the cries of human suffering could be heard in the distance. The Roman armies that had surrounded the city and pleaded with its inhabitants to surrender would now finish the work of rendering the Divine Judgment decreed by the will of God the Almighty Himself. The God of the Past, the Present, and YOUR Future

PERHAPS the single most mistaken idea people have about the “Preterist” view of Biblical fulfillment is that is primary, and only focus is “past-tense”–that God accomplished something very important 2,000 years ago, but that He has not done much since that time.

It is true that “preterism” as a systematic interpretation of the Scriptures does call attention to the fact that Christ promised to return and to receive His people unto Himself in those events associated with the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 (John 14:1-3; Matt. 24:3). The Bible does teach that A.D. 70 was the “end” or “consummation” of the Jewish “age” or “world” (Matt. 24:4; 28:18-20; I Pet. 4:7), and that the events predicted to occur during that period of time, the span of a single “generation” (Matt. 23:36; 24:34) living at that time. In fact, on the day of Pentecost, following the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the apostle Peter urged those listening to his message that day to, “Be saved from this perverse generation” (Acts 2:40).
