Larry...
I agree that the first step to peace, joy & contentment is the preterist understanding of scripture. Jesus Christ is our all-in-all ,right here & right now. It doesn't get any better than this. The following helps me remember that, for happiness, I have to take the intiative and..."Give thanks, call upon his name, make known his deeds, sing to him, talk of all his wondrous works, glory in his holy name, rejoice, seek the Lord and his face evermore, remember his marvellous works." Psalm 105:1-5 (In other words...Live Christ).
Thank you for all you do...Fulfilled in Christ...May Lyn

[...] Behind the scenes far greater, spiritual realities were all came to pass just as had been foretold. That which occurred in the physical destruction of Jerusalem was the “sign” …. The great kingdoms of the world, likewise, had been defeated by the manifested power of God’s established Kingdom . ….Behind the scenes the pageantry of God’s victory was celebrated as legions of resurrected “holy ones” marched out of Hades in triumphant procession and took their stand alongside the throngs of worshippers around God’s glorious throne. http://www.victorywordsonline.com/?p=424 [...]

Larry, this is outstanding! You have clearly outdone yourself. You captured the moment. I felt like I was there when the temple came crashing down. Relief and vindication for those who fled the fortified city, but at the same time the stark reality of what this devastation meant to their many loved ones who chose to stay safe in the city. The vast array of emotions must have been extremely intense.

And the Scriptural citations are valuable.

Thanks, Larry!

Blessings,
Chuck
