Relational
THIS section of Victory Words online is devoted to “matters of the heart”–the spiritual aspect of our relationship with God.
The balanced Christian life requires that we have a willingness to feed both the soul and the spirit, not just the mind and the intellect, but also that we dig deeper into the things pertaining to the heart of God and the revelation of Himself to us in the most intimate and practical areas of our lives.
The temptation of Bible study is to feed the intellect and to discover the doctrinal aspects of Christianity without ever making the connection between what the Scriptures say about the “big picture” and what they also say about the effects that those teachings have on everything else that matters in life. The objective truth found in the word of God is that which ministers to the subjective parts of our life and reality.
The intellectual approach takes the word of God as the means through which a person comes to know about God, whereas, the spiritual and devotional–relational approach takes that truth and seeks to press forward, into the realm of knowing God, having communion with God, and experiencing every aspect of who He is as a person, and who we are as His children.
RELATIONAL ESCHATOLOGY
The term Relational Eschatology means that we come to the placing of entering into the fulfillment of all that God’s has promised to us as New Covenant believers. Relational Eschatology strives to answer the questions about the Lord’s return from the standpoint of personal application of the eternal principles, promises and blessings that come to all who enter into His presence and whose desire to to experience life in His presence as a daily reality. It is a journey that every believer can and must make in order to have the life of blessing and abundance that Jesus promised to His followers (John 10:10).

What does the Judgment mean to me?
In this section we seek to go beyond the general questions and into the specific applications for today as a present reality. It is the historial events of the past that form the foundation for the spiritual things of the present victory we have daily as believers who walk in the presence of God.
Without the historical event of Jesus shedding His blood on the Cross, there could be no spiritual reality for those who accept the benefits of His accomplished work. The apostle Paul, by inspiration told the believers in Corinth: “But the spiritual is not first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual” (I Cor. 15:46). The Old Testament types and shadows have now become New Testament antitypes and realities given by God for every believer to experience! It is an amazing principle!
